Bernard Moreau

Bernard spent twenty-five years inside French print and trade media. He started as a desk editor at a regional daily in Bordeaux, moved to Paris to cover the film and broadcast industry for trade publications including Le Film Français, and finished that chapter as a deputy managing editor responsible for fact-checking and source policy.

He moved to Ubud in 2017 for personal reasons and watched Bali's video and podcast scene grow from a handful of operators into a serious cluster of more than seventy studios. He joined Tantal in 2023 to run editorial standards for Near Me: every studio fact is sourced, every price is verified by phone, and corrections are published openly with dates.

As an editor he covers comparison guides, market overviews, and pricing methodology. He doesn't claim deep technical chops on lighting or audio — that's why we have Philippe — but he reads every article before it ships and asks the awkward questions until the numbers hold up.
