Why Canggu has the most studios on Bali
Canggu's expat density (about 20,500 foreigners in our spreadsheet, the highest of any Bali district) created the demand. Studios followed. The result is a competitive cluster where prices stay relatively honest — when one studio raises rates, customers walk three minutes to the next one.
For a podcaster choosing between districts, this matters in two ways. First, you have real comparison: Genesis at Rp1.1M for 2 cameras vs. VoxPop at Rp1.095M three blocks away vs. Villo at Rp1.55M with multilingual support. Second, last-minute changes are easier — if your booked studio has equipment trouble, another option is rarely more than 15 minutes away.
