Why this catalog exists
Near Me started as a working test of our own CRM software. We needed a real-world load to validate booking calendar, multi-channel inbox, and lead routing — so we built a catalog of every podcast and video studio we could verify on Bali, then we put our CRM behind it. The aggregator works for visitors. The CRM, in turn, gets demonstrated to studio owners who want similar systems.
We don't take commission on bookings. CTAs go directly to studio websites and contact channels. The site funds itself when studio owners ask us to build their own systems. That alignment matters: it means we have no incentive to push one studio over another in the catalog.
How we research
- Direct calls. Every studio price in our comparison tables was confirmed by phone or WhatsApp. Where a studio didn't name a tier during the call, we mark it with an em-dash rather than guess.
- Public Google reviews. We use Google Places API for review counts, average ratings, and reply rates. We never copy review text by hand; we link to the original source.
- Quarterly re-audit. Bali studio prices change. We re-call the catalog every quarter and update the "as of" date on each page. If you spot stale data, write to us.
- No paid placement. Studios are sorted by Google rating multiplied by review count, capped. Villo Studio appears in our catalog because it's a real Bali studio, not because of our connection — the sort algorithm doesn't care about ownership.
